Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
2. Shape the mixture into a ball or a log shape. You can use plastic wrap to help shape it.
3. If you're coating the cheese ball with nuts, spread the finely chopped nuts on a plate. Roll the cheese ball in the nuts, gently pressing them into the surface until it's coated evenly.
4. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours, or until it's firm.
5. Before serving, let the cheese ball sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes to soften slightly. Serve with crackers, vegetables, or your choice of dippers.
